The Hario Mizudashi series. Glass container (it's afterall a Hario), and plastic covers and stuff. I've yet to do a simple rinse of that stuff, but I think this coffee would fit in well with the "coffee anytime, anywhere" and good for a hot summer's day (which is like almost every day in Singapore).
Kinda excited about the potential of this device. I bought it at $23 at Takashimaya. I think the Hario sales auntie can recognise me liao. She "A"ed me for $2.40 to fork out for the "legendary" Hario paper filters.
I don't own a V60, but I do own a simple nylon filter, and according to her, it's supposed to make my coffee taste wonderful. I don't really know about that. But the real problem with my Hario drip is simply such that, perhaps I should be a lot more adventurous in grinding my coffee a lot finer, but I still feel that it lacks the full-body flavour that a submersion/soak brewing system can offer. Well, the filter is supposed to make the drip a lot slower, but I wonder if it can change much. So my current Hario drip produces a weak cup of coffee, in terms of body, taste and caffeine content. Signs of under extraction :(.
But I do wonder about the cool Mizudashi method. どきどきするわ。
